  • Brunch at Claus Palais Royal

  • Jardin du Palais Royal & Colonnes du Buren

  • Le Nemours for breakfast or lunch

  • Télescope for coffee

  • Chocolat chaud at Angelina

  • Orangerie to see Monet’s water lilies in the Jardin des Tuileries

5th arrondissement:

  • Tea at the Grande Mosquée de Paris (enter the courtyard at the corner of Rue Daubenton and Rue Geoffroy Saint Hilaire)

  • Circus Bakery of a cinnamon bun

  • A. Lacroix Pâtissier for coffee, a treat, and a stunning view of Notre Dame

  • Place du Panthéon (Look down Rue Soufflot for a view of the Eiffel Tower)

  • Shakespeare and Company (not the original location but still just so much fun - books are in English)

6th arrondissement:

  • Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots - a bit touristy today but such Paris classics that are worth a visit!

  • Le Jardin du Luxembourg (especially the Marie de Medicis Fountain)

7th arrondissement:

  • Shops along Rue Cler

  • Champ de Mars and la tour Eiffel

8th arrondissement:

9th arrondissement:

  • Galeries Lafayette Haussmann - don’t miss the rooftop views!

10th arrondissement:

11th arrondissement:

16th arrondissement:

  • Esplanade du Trocadéro for stunning Eiffel Tower views

18th arrondissement:

  • Pain Pain for a pâtisserie

  • Le mur des je t’aime

  • Sacré Coeur and Square Louise Michel - some of my favorite views of the city
